Life Roads is proud to announce the official launch of Backpack Blessings, a monthly initiative providing nutritious, non-perishable food to 60 families at Argyle Elementary School who are currently facing food insecurity.
With just $1,500 per month, we can ensure every family receives essential food staples—helping children stay nourished, focused, and ready to learn. As SNAP benefits risk reduced or delayed funding across Georgia, Backpack Blessings will serve as an urgent stop-gap for families who need support now more than ever.
This is more than a program—it’s a lifeline.
Why Backpack Blessings Matters
Food insecurity is a growing crisis across Georgia, and its impact on children is profound. When kids don’t have consistent access to food, everything suffers—sleep, mood, energy, and academic performance.
By providing monthly take-home food packs, we help ensure that no child goes to bed hungry and no parent has to choose between groceries and rent.
Each Backpack Blessings bundle will include items such as:
- Rice, pasta, and beans

A Strong Partnership With Argyle Elementary School
Life Roads has partnered with Argyle Elementary School through the Cobb County School District to support students directly where the need is greatest. Through this partnership, students receive:

- Uber cards for safe transportation
- Weekly mentoring through reading and math enrichment
- Access to our annual bicycle program and bike safety rodeo
