Fall 2022 Rainfire Church Backpack Bash

Rainfire Church Backpack Bash

Life Roads partnered with Rainfire Church in Douglasville GA to provide 50 backpacks full of the necessary supplies to kids who were so excited to get them. The joy they show comes through and is infectious!!!

Threads of Kindness

Argyle Elementary has a program to provide clothes to kids with critical clothing needs, they ask for three sets of clothes – shirts, pants, socks, underwear, hoodie, and pair of sneakers. Every situation is different. We have figured out how to do this for about $150 per child, and are blessed to be able to help out.

2022 Share the Warmth

Through our work with the social workers, we were asked to change our “Share the Warmth” campaign from coats to hoodies for the older children because that is what they prefer; we quickly pivoted and were able to purchase 350 hoodies to the students of Cobb County. We also were able to provide coats to the families of Maranatha Life Church. Distribution day was a blast, boxes were everywhere and as we sorted them the administrators were so excited about the joy it would bring to their students.

After School Program – Tutoring

On February 14, we started our first week of an after-school program (ASP) at Argyle. Life Roads bought math and word games; from 3:15-4:00 in the afternoon, our volunteers visit the school and work with kindergarten through 3rd grade children through games to help reenforce what they are learning, which is so rewarding to the Life Roads team.

Spring 2023 Bike for Kids / Bike Rodeo
